Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for precision and a drive to build? Serenova Re is seeking a dynamic Finance / Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial and accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Accounting Policy and the Chief Financial Officer, this role offers the opportunity to help define and implement the target operating model for a growing reinsurance company. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and filing of quarterly GAAP and STAT financials. Support the annual audit process in collaboration with PwC. Manage general ledger entries for investments and reinsurance settlements. Oversee payment processing and journal entry documentation. Prepare reconciliations, financial statements, and regulatory filings (BSCR). Enhance and document accounting processes and procedures. Support hedge accounting and effectiveness testing. Implement and manage general ledger systems and reporting tools (Clearwater, Sapiens/F9). Qualifications & Experience 5-10 years of finance/accounting experience in life and annuity insurance, with both GAAP and STAT exposure. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is a plus. Familiarity with Bermuda EBS is advantageous. Experience with Clearwater and Sapiens/F9 systems preferred. Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
