Risk Consultant

Our client, Accelerate Consulting Ltd., a specialized business consulting and talent solutions company, is seeking candidates for the role of Risk Consultant. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES: • Deliver high-quality internal audit, risk, and compliance services that provide measurable value to clients. • Ability to work independently while also integrating effectively within dynamic teams Build and maintain relationships with clients. Provide ad hoc support to Senior Management. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Forensics or Business Management (required) • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification (required) • CAMS certification or Risk Management certification (advantageous) • At least five (5) years of relevant experience focused on risk, compliance and internal audit • Strong knowledge of AML/ATF laws and FATF standards, with regulatory reporting and training experience • Proven experience leading internal audit engagements that includes process improvements, internal control testing, report writing on findings and SOX compliance ideally gained within a big four audit/advisory firm • Proficiency in digital productivity tools, with advanced Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, automation) and hands-on experience with ERP platforms to support finance, operations, and reporting workflows • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively across all levels of an organization • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, consulting environments Accelerate maintains a drug-free work environment and reserves the right to perform pre-employment criminal background checks and random drug tests.
