Tier 2 Security Monitoring Engineer

Job Type: Contract
We’re looking for a Tier 2 Security Monitoring Engineer to join our NOC team. In this hybrid role, you’ll spend most of your time (50%+) investigating alerts from our SIEM platform—validating suspicious activity, contacting users, and taking immediate protective action. You’ll also monitor servers, networks, and other critical infrastructure to keep client environments secure and reliable. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, clear communication, and being the first line of defense against threats.

Requirements

CompTIA Security+ certification (required)\n1–2 years in IT support, NOC, or Helpdesk\nFamiliarity with SIEM alerts and basic incident investigation\nKnowledge of servers, networks, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools\nStrong communication skills for user interaction and documentation\nAbility to work flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation
