KPMG Advisory is looking for an Assistant Manager and Manager with experience in Management Consulting, including, but not limited to, experience in managing a diverse portfolio of engagements and working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver consulting services to financial services industry clients. The role will include the following responsibilities: Executing advisory engagements, which may involve process transformation, operational performance improvement, strategy and policy development, financial modeling, people & change, data & analytics, and stakeholder engagement. Understanding client issues and using robust research, analysis, and innovative techniques to establish client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics to near and long-term performance improvement. Working in various sectors including infrastructure, public sector, healthcare and tourism & hospitality. Acting as project lead for the duration of engagements, serving as key contact for the client, developing and managing project scope and workplans/budgets and assessing risk. Participating in new business development including the preparation and presentation of our offerings to the market. Reporting to clients, and the internal management team on engagement progress and ensuring adherence to all compliance and regulatory rules. Develop and manage project plans and financials Candidates must have the following qualifications, skills and attributes: A minimum of three years (Assistant Manager) or four years (Manager) of experience in an Advisory business and/or public practice providing Management Consulting services to a broad range of international and local companies, including healthcare, infrastructure, government and financial services. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited college/university An accounting certification (eg CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) and experience with financial analysis Ability to apply design thinking to solve complex business challenges Proficient across the PEST framework, with ability to develop a deep understanding of people, social, technology, economic trends Strong research, organizational and administrative skills are essential Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills are essential Candidates must have strong presentation skills as the role requires regular internal and external presentations to be delivered First class written and oral communication skills. Experience of working with senior management on complex cross border engagements with a multi-jurisdictional team A high degree of competence in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook is required Be a strong team player. A self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task on a daily basis and maintain high levels of drive and resilience A willingness and capacity to work overtime at short notice is essential as this is a highly demanding environment with very tight report deadlines.
