The Skilled Landscape Gardener is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor), in order to assist with the completion of landscape projects. The Skilled Landscape Gardener will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment particularly those used for the purpose of landscape installation, restoration and maintenance. Must be prepared to work long hours and public holidays as required.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in all forms of landscaping. Must have a minimum of 3 years' horticulture experience. Must have extensive knowledge on the use of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticide applications. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience operating verticutter, aerifier, sod cutter, tractor and zero-turn mower. Must be proficient in the usage of a Reel Mower. An intermediate truck license, with a clean driving record would be an asset. Must have own transportation.
