On behalf of our client, Atlantic Cleaning & Maintenance Ltd., we seek Experienced Cleaner / Maintenance Technician(s) – Commercial / Residential. The successful applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the aspects of Commercial and Residential Cleaning and Janitorial Services including the techniques of all types of cleaning, to include, but not limited to, heavy duty cleaning in the use of equipment and chemicals for use in washing, polishing and steam cleaning of floors and carpets, office system cleaning, kitchens and restroom cleaning, waste removal, washing walls and windows, hard surface, floor cleaning, shampooing rugs, pot washing and associated maintenance. Property maintenance work may include painting, repairs, installing of doors and windows, lifting of heavy items & furniture, hanging of picture frames straight, mold abatement, power washing, masonry, carpentry, landscaping (for example: removing weeds, and sweeping of leaves and foliage) etc. Will be required to clean, inspect, and maintain equipment and machinery, and will need to use and dispose of hazardous chemicals. Must be able to lift & move heavy items, furniture, etc. Must have knowledge and previous work experience with cleaning chemicals, supplies and materials safely. Applicants must be experienced in operating heavy commercial steam cleaning equipment and hold a valid intermediate driving license or be willing to obtain. Must be able to work well with others or on their own an be able to handle the pressure of a busy work environment, must be able to maintain clean, hygienic work environment and assist in cleaning facilities that may be exposed to contaminants, so therefore must have knowledge of safety requirements; must have the ability to handle equipment and machinery utilized in the cleaning process. All successful applicants must have attention to detail, excellence customer service, solid work ethic and be an exceptional timekeeper. All staff must be willing to work flexible hours and are on-call for: early mornings, nights, weekends and/or public holidays required – no exceptions. All applicants must hold a clean police clearance certificate and must be able to work island wide. All successful applicants will be required to always have a clean and neat appearance. Atlantic Cleaning and Maintenance Limited has a zero-tolerance policy for drug and or alcohol abuse. Pre-employment drug testing may be administered.
