Enstar Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Enstar Group Limited, is seeking an Investment Accountant. The Investment Accountant is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate recording and reporting of the UK / US regions investment Accounting. We help our clients manage complex risk, unlock capital, and create the financial freedom to grow. Key Responsibilities: The candidate will primarily be responsible for: Preparation and review of US GAAP investment bookings for the group's fixed income, equity, and alternatives. Assisting in managing the group's AFS portfolio and preparing the credit impairment analysis. Assisting in preparing the group's regulatory filings. Assisting in preparing the investment disclosures for the quarterly and year-end financial statements for the Company in accordance with US GAAP, SEC, and BMA requirements. Internal management and board reporting for investments. Assisting in ensuring compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements in relation to investments. Communicating with insurance subsidiaries, custodial banks, insurance regulators, internal and external auditors, and other service providers. Assisting on ad-hoc investment projects as required. Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA, or ACA) with 3 years post qualifications experience. Experience in reinsurance accounting preferred. Knowledge of SEC, CECL, and Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements. Current knowledge and strong practical experience of US GAAP relating to investments. Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and team skills.
