We are seeking a qualified Civil and Commercial Litigation Attorney who is an energetic and motivated self-starter to join our growing and thriving Litigation Department. The successful candidate will: Possess considerable post-qualification experience of no less than 4 years working in a civil/commercial litigation practice; Have a strong existing client base and a proven ability to develop new business and manage their own caseload; Have a proven ability to take carriage of a matter and work autonomously; Have significant experience in all aspects of personal injury, employment, commercial litigation matters, arbitration and Human Rights matters; Effectively work with a broad client base including public companies, family businesses and sole proprietors; Experienced in preparing for and conducting interlocutory hearings, trials and appeals in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal; Be an extremely effective and experienced advocate; Possess excellent academic qualifications and be highly motivated to work diligently to achieve best outcomes for clients; Communicate and liaise with client, counsel, Bermuda Courts including the Court of Appeal, and other legal practitioners and staff.

Requirements

Possess considerable post-qualification experience of no less than 4 years working in a civil/commercial litigation practice and must be admitted as an Attorney and Barrister in the Supreme Court of Bermuda.
