Plumbing Mechanic

Burrows Plumbing Services Ltd. seeks experienced commercial and residential construction plumbers to join our growing team. Applicants must have recent verifiable experience working on large-scale commercial and residential construction projects as plumbing mechanics, such as multi-unit residential, commercial, hotel, and infrastructure works. If you have the relevant experience, a positive attitude, and are actively seeking employment, we welcome your application. Experience and Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience • Valid plumbing certificate • Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations • Proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications and technical drawings • Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively • Valid driver's license Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems • Reviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications, and plumbing codes to determine the correct layout and installation requirements for plumbing systems • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or areas requiring maintenance or repair, ensuring optimal system performance • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications • Use appropriate tools, equipment, and machinery to safely and efficiently carry out plumbing tasks while adhering to safety protocols • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress • Follow all safety procedures and standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment for yourself and your colleagues
