Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the following full-time Tutor positions in the department for the Centre for Learning and Academic Success (CLAS). The Mathematics Tutor will provide individualized and small-group academic support for students across a wide range of mathematics courses, from developmental math to advanced subjects such as calculus and statistics. In addition to math coursework, the tutor will support students in disciplines that rely on quantitative reasoning, such as physics and accounting. The Health Science Tutor will support students in biological and health-related subjects including but not limited to anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and general biology.

Requirements

Candidates holding master’s degrees or other advanced academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. A minimum of two (2) years’ teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred. Candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline will also be considered.
