Astwood Dickinson is seeking an experienced Senior Manager and Buyer. The successful candidate will have gained experience in a fast paced, boutique style luxury retail environment. Previous fine jewelry and watch buying experience is essential, and experience buying brands such as Jaeger Le Coulter, Panerai, IWC, Breitling, Cartier, and Omega is preferred. A minimum of 5 years watch buying experience is required. The Senior Manager and Buyer will be responsible for the management of the Company’s inventory levels including having responsibility for purchasing of new stock that is inline with the Bermuda market appetite. The person will have led teams and be able to show successful team development planning and produce strong results over a sustained period. Coaching and mentoring will also be critical to this role as we require someone who believes in empowerment and development of the team that they manage. They will have worked in a management capacity for a known national or branded retailer and possess a brand qualification (NAG/ GIA or equivalent).
