SPA THERAPIST

We are seeking qualified therapists to join our team of talented therapists in our Spa. Responsibilities of the Spa Therapist will include but are not limited to: Performing body treatments including wraps using heat, and massage therapy using modalities of shiatsu, reflexology, Reiki, Thai massage, and warm stone massage; Performing facials including exfoliation and extraction; Performing manicures and pedicures; Ensuring the quality of the guest experience by the immaculate presentation of treatment rooms and providing the Guest with product recommendations tailored specifically to each individual Guest. Applicants should have certification from an accredited school of beauty therapy to include aesthetics and massage and two years of proven experience as a therapist in a luxury Spa environment. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a definite asset. Therapists are expected to have superior communication and customer service skills and must be willing to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends and public holidays. The Director of Laundry oversees all aspects of the laundry department, ensuring the smooth operations of the department. Manages the various third-party vendors, making sure that product delivered is of the highest quality. Monitors all equipment for wear and tear and plans regular maintenance and replacement. Coordinates and manages distribution of all linen for all the departments and ensures training is done. Some key responsibilities shall include but are not limited to: Responsible for short- and long-term planning and management of the hotel's laundry operations, Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manage within those approved budgets, Establishes production schedules designed to meet the requirements of the respective hotel operating departments and monitors activities to ensure that schedules are met, Evaluates individual employee performance, determines areas where need for improvement or requirements for advancement exist, establishes goals, objectives and training needs required to achieve same, Takes full responsibility of hygiene, cleanliness and maintenance of machines and work premises to ensure safety and higher productivity, Stays current regarding changes in technology, and/or operation procedures that affect the operation of the Laundry/Valet department, Develops and implements standard operation procedures as well as production and quality standards, Evaluates quality of textile samples for linen, uniforms and upholstery and makes recommendations on their quality, conducts the Laundry's benchmark survey and performance achievements once a year with all competitors in the market. Minimum Requirements: Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High school Education. At least 5 years as a Laundry Manager or at least 3 years as Director of Laundry.
