BGA Wholesale Distributor is hiring a
Pharmacy Buyer
Deadline: 2 days
Job Type: Permanent
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring adequate supply of all pharmaceutical products and selected over-the-counter products for BGA Ltd. and for ensuring effective sourcing, balancing price with reliability and sustainability of supply.
Specific Tasks and Duties
Review sales, project demand and place purchase orders on vendors
Receive invoices, match and cost product/freight
Notify suppliers of discrepancies
Managing 'Pharmacy Special Order' database
Source and supply special orders
Obtain import/export permits from Bermuda Government
Examine any departmental performance improvements
Picking, receiving, inventory management;
Customer service (assisting customers; receiving and inputting orders)
Any other associated duties as specified or requested by Manager
Requirements
Pharmaceutical experience mandatory
Strong interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and/or pharmaceutical products
Knowledge of GDP guidelines preferred
Professional telephone manner
Ability to prioritize and share tasks within a small team
Flexible approach to departmental tasks
Ability to work in a deadline oriented role
Requirements
