VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCIAL CONTROLLER AND HEAD OF TREASURY & REINSURANCE OPERATIONS

Kuvare Services Bermuda Ltd. ("KSB"), a Bermuda based service provider to affiliated and regulated Bermuda domiciled long-term reinsurers, invites applications for the position of Vice President, Financial Controller and Head of Treasury & Reinsurance Operations to support KSB's continued growth in business originating from the US and internationally. VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCIAL CONTROLLER AND HEAD OF TREASURY & REINSURANCE OPERATIONS Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be a key member of the finance and treasury team, and the broader KSB management team. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day finance, accounting and statutory reporting functions of the company, its affiliates and sponsored vehicles, ensuring delivery of timely, complete and accurate reporting and analysis to all stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for analyzing, tracking, and managing all aspects of treasury, liquidity, and collateral management, including derivative hedging programs, across the KSB platform. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual management accounts, US GAAP financial statements and Bermuda statutory reporting for KSB, its affiliates and sponsored vehicles In conjunction with the CFO, establish key metrics to provide insight into reinsurance and investment results, capital forecasts and planning Monitor and track reinsurance transaction data and analysis of deal performance (i.е. premiums received for each treaty versus expected new business flows, actual cost of liabilities versus expected assumed in pricing, etc.) Implement and maintain financial accounting and investment accounting systems Design and implement financial / statutory reporting and internal control policies and procedures Review of monthly reinsurance settlements, monitor transaction reporting deadlines and ensure terms and timelines laid out in reinsurance and trust agreements are adhered to, including investment compliance Liaise with internal and external actuarial resources and rating agencies to coordinate the year-end external audits In conjunction with the CFO and Kuvare group Deputy Treasurer, oversee implementation and execution of treasury policies, procedures and internal controls Oversee cash processing and expense management, including processing of internal and external invoices and preparation of budget to actual expense analysis Liquidity forecasting, reporting and management to ensure investment portfolio and operational needs are met Oversee preparation of various internally developed liquidity and FX risk reports Participate in process optimization, improvement and automation projects, as required Minimum Qualifications and Experience: An internationally recognized professional accounting designation with a minimum of 12-15 years' post qualification experience, including a minimum of 2 years in public accounting Minimum of 10 years' experience within the Bermuda life reinsurance industry with a proven record of progressive responsibility including 5-8 years' experience supervising, developing and motivating teams to deliver timely and high-quality reporting and analysis Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory and BMA reporting; including experience completing Capital and Solvency Returns for a life (re)insurance company under the current BSCR/EBS regime Significant working experience and knowledge of fixed and variable annuities and other life products and their accounting under US GAAP, including associated reinsurance structures (i.e., coinsurance, modified coinsurance, and funds withheld) Experience in treasury, liquidity and collateral management at a life (re)insurance company Familiarity with various derivative hedging strategies/programs (i.e., interest rate, FX and equity index/options, etc.) Ability to work independently and collaborate with key partners and business leaders Strong organizational, time-management, client management and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail Critical thinking and sound judgement with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral Willingness and capacity to work long hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays and on short notice is essential
