Junior Catastrophe Analyst

Requirements

Undergraduate degree from an accredited University. At least 2 years of experience in re/insurance audit or direct industry experience. General knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and SQL. Other programming/technical skills are a benefit. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, whilst being a strong team player. Possess well rounded interpersonal skills, both with colleagues and brokers. Be flexible to work outside the standard working hours in busy periods. Demonstrate and perform effectively working when in time sensitive and pressurised situations. Show initiative to recognise and resolve problems. Detail oriented with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Keen to develop and learn modelling principles of the portfolio risk appetite. Understanding of basic insurance principles and terminology.
