In this role you will: Manage client requests to meet and exceed their banking needs; provide clients with a consistent service experience by adhering to customer service standards, policies/procedures, and the Bank's Code of Conduct at all times Assis Sales Floor management, the Teller counter and the customer service desk in the network by providing coverage when required Process client transactions as requested, including verification and processing of deposits, withdrawals from checking/savings accounts, check cashing, advance orders, bank drafts, and foreign cash Manage cash within the prescribed limits, including refunding excess cash to the Branch cash vault during and at the end of the workday, and counting and reconciling cash Assist management with general banking hall responsibilities as and when required To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: Expert knowledge in establishing customer relationships, providing first rate customer service, including the ability to cross-sell and resolve problems when necessary A track record of consistently courteous behaviour, and a willingness to go beyond expectations to meet customer needs Ability to identify and fulfil needs-based solutions and service opportunities Team player, easily develops good working relationships and willing to assist others to create an extraordinary service experience Working knowledge in basic banking systems, account maintenance and general banking queries is an asset Ability to effectively prioritize and work in a dynamic environment When you join HSBC, you'll enjoy a supportive culture, a highly energised team, and have access to exciting opportunities and benefits, such as: Salary and benefits designed to give you a solid foundation for the present and future Mentoring, coaching, and training to upskill yourself, including word-class learning opportunities Flexible working environment Range of resources to support your mental, physical, and social well-being Opportunities to work internationally, and join a range of Employee Resource Groups Personal data held by HSBC relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which is available on our website.
