IT Infrastructure Specialist, Healthcare Systems

Under the leadership of the Technology Manager, the Senior Infrastructure & Security Specialist will provide strategic leadership for the Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) and its affiliates, regarding technology systems. This role involves validating technology recommendations, developing disaster avoidance plans, and ensuring that the systems of the Bermuda Hospitals Board operate at peak performance. Key responsibilities include managing the design and development of enterprise network architecture framework, assisting with the design, architecture & implementation of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System and core infrastructure services such as Active Directory (AD), leading the roadmap for architectural transition, maintaining knowledge of new technologies, and providing technical support for AD infrastructure in a 7x24 environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; MCSE or similar certification a plus; 5+ years’ relevant technical and/or related experience; Prior Healthcare industry experience in acute care organizations; Strong communication skills; Knowledge of IT Healthcare best practices; Proficient with VMware and Windows operating systems; Experienced in business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management.Salary
