The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and management reporting requirements of the insurance company and specialty lines insurance managing general underwriting agency. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated newly qualified accountant with excellent inter-personal and organizational skills.

Requirements

• An internationally recognized accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA or CPA), • Demonstrable experience of US GAAP and working knowledge of the Bermuda statutory requirements, including BSCR reporting; • Experience and understanding of general ledger systems; • Advanced computer literacy skills, particularly Microsoft suite of products; • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills with an ability to work and communicate with all levels of management together with a track record as a team player; • A proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
