Head of ERP, Reporting, Analytics

The BEST Group – a group of Bermudian companies providing services in the fleet, freight, logistics, shipping, trucking, and warehousing industries are looking for a Head of ERP, Reporting, Analytics and Infrastructure to join BEST Group Ltd. on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for leading implementation of the financial ERP system, reporting frameworks (i.e., dashboards), implementing data analytics, and working with the IT service provider. With a background in finance and technology, the Head of ERP, Reporting, Analytics, and Infrastructure will bridge the gap between financial processes and IT tools/systems, ensuring seamless integration, insightful reporting enabling business and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will provide financial and technological oversight, ensuring ERP and reporting tools support compliance, efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The role requires leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: ERP Management & Financial Systems: Lead the selection, implementation, and continuous optimization of ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) with a focus on financial reporting, controls, and automation of manual processes. Ensure ERP solution is aligned with accounting standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives. Oversee system integration with finance, payroll tax and other key business functions. Review of current timekeeping systems and integration with payroll software. Provide recommendation on payroll software and timekeeping software and efficiencies to enable automation. Provide strategic recommendations on ERP improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Financial Reporting & Analytics: Develop and oversee company-wide reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and timely financial and operational reporting. Utilize BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Excel) to enhance data visualization and decision-making capabilities. Provide insights on business performance through advanced financial analytics and modeling. IT Infrastructure & Security: Oversee the external IT Service provider that is responsible for IT infrastructure, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and data governance to support financial and operational resilience. Ensure ERP and reporting systems maintain high availability, security, and performance. Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to financial and operational systems. Work closely with IT team to enhance data integrity, security protocols, and system scalability. Strategic Leadership & Advisory: Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic direction on ERP investments, financial data management, and digital transformation efforts. Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, ensuring collaboration between finance, IT, and operations. Develop and implement IT governance policies with support from IT provider to enhance financial system reliability and efficiency. Manage external vendors, consultants, and partners for ERP and.
