Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of safe patient care as well as maintaining operational aspects of patient care in collaboration with other service areas for Reid Ward, Tarheel, and Bridge House. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring compliance with clinical and operational policies, making regular unit rounds, participating in admissions/discharges/transfers, collaborating with other supervisors, reviewing occurrences/near miss reports, and providing coverage support for the Clinical Manager as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor Science Degree Nursing (BSN) or Registered Mental Health (RMN) with three years management experience either in a supervisory or functional area. Advanced Nursing Certification in Mental Health is preferred. Current licensure and registration as required by the Bermuda Nurses Council.
