The Island Dental Center (IDC) team are expanding and preparing to introduce exciting new services. Now’s the perfect time to join our team as we enter this new chapter. We are currently recruiting for a Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic, fun, dental healthcare and administrative team using some of the highest grade and new dental technology. The Certified Dental Assistant will support the Dentist by ensuring a pleasant experience for patients, providing excellent customer service and the efficient management of administrative and basic dental tasks. Applicants must demonstrate a high degree of attention, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to adhering to all dental office regulations. A Certified Dental Assistant is preferred but we are willing to train an aspiring Dental Assistant with a great personable and positive personality. Key Duties and Responsibilities include welcoming and preparing patients for treatments or checkups, selecting and setting up instruments, assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, and maintaining patient records.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years’ experience, proven relevant experience including Invisalign and Itero scanning, working knowledge of MacPractice Management Software, valid CPR certification, willingness to work on Saturdays and on call for emergency dental services.
