The Nursing Aide will work under the supervision of an assigned Staff Nurse and performs related duties necessary in caring for the personal needs, comforts and safety of the patients. Key responsibilities include supporting the policies and procedures of the Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB), attending to activities of daily living, observing and reporting patients' symptoms and progress, taking vital signs, administering enemas, testing urine samples, and assisting with admissions and discharges.

Requirements

High School Graduate; Certificate of completion for the Nursing Assistant Course at Bermuda College or equivalent; Geriatric Aid Certification; Current CPR certification; Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
