The Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented and cyber-savvy candidate to work as a Security Engineer in our Management Services Department. Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Security Engineer will be responsible for daily oversight and implementation of security activities and controls that aim to make our security positions strong and well-managed. Key Duties and Responsibilities include completing daily security tasks, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, maintaining the Authority's security defense strategy, and assisting in the creation and maintenance of security policies.

Requirements

A master’s degree in computer science or related field, or a bachelor’s degree with certifications in CISSP and CompTIA Security+. Minimum of seven (7) years experience in IT Security, with at least three (3) years at a senior level within financial services. Familiarity with IT service management software and extensive knowledge of operating systems and database security required.
