Head of Financial Governance & Risks

Under the direction of the VP Operational Finance, the Head of Financial Governance and Risk will manage the day-to-day operations of the Financial Governance and Risks Department and ensure that Financial Policies and Procedures are aligned with BHB’s Financial Governance. Responsibilities include assisting with the development, recommendation, and implementation of strategies for addressing market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk; creating and implementing the overall risk management process; managing BHB's insurance program; ensuring that internal financial controls are supported; and advising on compliance with financial rules and regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Compliance or Business with less than ten (10) years post-qualification experience. Certified as a CPA, CIA, Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional or equivalent. Five years' experience in a similar role.
