Group Risk Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a sharp and driven self-starter. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the development of best practice risk management procedures throughout the organisation, ensuring that enterprise-wide management and modelling of risk is consistent and accurate. Your duties will include maintaining and enhancing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, overseeing vendor relationships, consulting on company policy, managing risk documentation, supporting risk appetite reviews, monitoring regulatory compliance, developing third-party risk frameworks, and integrating climate risk management practices. You will also be responsible for preparing risk reports, leading ERM modeling improvements, and promoting a risk-aware culture within the organization.

Requirements

Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or Quantitative field. Holder of a recognised actuarial accreditation or insurance risk management qualification. Minimum of 8 years' experience in a risk-related role with a strong focus on capital modeling. People management skills. Strategic thinking ability. Performance-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence at Board level. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated.
