Burrows Plumbing Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter/ Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings, as well as knowledge of the latest plumbing standards and techniques. It is a MUST for applicants to have recent verifiable experience working on large-scale commercial and residential construction projects such as multi-unit residential, commercial, hotel, and infrastructure works as a pipe fitter/ welder. Requirements

Experience and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience as a pipe fitter/welder Valid welding certificate Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations Proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications and technical drawings Ability to use plumbing and welding equipment effectively Valid driver's license Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting blue prints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems Installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of piping systems including water, gas, and air lines Must be well versed in measuring, cutting, and assembling pipe segments using appropriate tools and materials Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and plumbing codes Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or areas requiring maintenance or repair, ensuring optimal system performance Work closely with the project manager, plumbing supervisor, contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications Use appropriate tools, equipment, and machinery to safely and efficiently carry out plumbing tasks, while adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress
