Required to teach IB (Higher and Standard Level), IGCSE and Key Stage 3 Mathematics. Lead pastoral care across the Secondary School. This role requires at least five years' experience in a senior pastoral and safeguarding leadership role. Secondary Teacher of English, Head of Teacher Training and Professional Development Required to teach IB (Higher and Standard Level), IGCSE and Key Stage 3 English Literature and Language. Lead the Primary and Secondary Schools' teacher training programme and professional development. Senior leadership experience is required. Secondary Teacher of Drama and Film, Assistant Head of Sixth Form Required to teach IB (Higher and Standard Level), IGCSE and Key Stage 3 Drama (Theatre Arts) and Film. Assist with the leadership of the Sixth Form. Middle leadership experience is required. Secondary Teacher of Mathematics, Key Stage 3 Coordinator • Required to teach IB (Higher and Standard Level), IGCSE and Key Stage 3 Mathematics. Lead the development of Key Stage 3 Mathematics. Leadership experience is required. Secondary Teacher of Business Studies and Economics, Assistant Head of KS4 • Required to teach IB (Higher and Standard Level), IGCSE and Year 9 Business Studies and Economics. Assist with the leadership of pastoral care in Key Stage 4. Leadership experience is required.

Requirements

Must hold a teacher qualification at the Secondary School level and hold an appropriate honours degree preferably in their teaching subject. At least three years' teaching experience in the educational programmes offered - the UK National Curriculum KS3, I/GCSE, BTEC and the International Baccalaureate - or similar curricula (A-level/AP). Proven external examination success is essential when teaching the IB and I/GCSE programmes. It is expected that the successful candidates will have well developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with a highly motivated team of teachers, and a willingness to contribute to the school's extensive co-curricular programme. Roles with leadership responsibilities require proof of experience. Successful applicants will be subject to a police criminal check, first aid and CPR training, SCARS training, and must meet the requirements for the Bermuda Educators Council (BEC) teacher's license.
