Twelve Securis, formed from the merger of Twelve Capital and Securis Investment Partners, is a leading, founder-led business and one of the largest, most experienced insurance-focused investment managers globally. We are seeking to add a highly skilled and collaborative reinsurance professional to the origination team, responsible for sourcing reinsurance and retrocession transactions in line with the available fund appetite. The position is based in our Bermuda office and will include core responsibilities as outlined below. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain strong working relationships with counterparties and brokers, representing Twelve Securis in the market under the guidance of the Global Head of Origination Liaise with the analytics and catastrophe research teams to ensure comprehensive evaluation and due diligence of each transaction Utilise diverse data sources and analytics tools to analyse, model, price and design appropriate reinsurance and retrocession structures for new and renewal transactions Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of investment proposals for presentation to the Private ILS Investment Committee Collaborate with the contract wordings specialist to review and analyse contract terms and participate PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS A minimum of 5 years of direct underwriting experience in the US or International Reinsurance/Retrocession catastrophe market Demonstrable professional credibility and a strong work ethic, with the ability to manage the complete lifecycle of a reinsurance or retrocession transaction Willingness and ability to travel to the US and internationally as required The right to work in Bermuda
