Seeking skilled Junior Chefs. Individuals will be responsible for preparing and assembling a variety of cold salads and sandwiches to order, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards; Safely handle and store ingredients to maintain freshness and quality; Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation; Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area; Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and accommodating special requests; Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines; Properly sanitise dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards; Remove all garbage, mop & sweep floors and complete a thorough cleaning of all kitchen areas and public spaces; Assist with anything else as required to help build a successful food services business. Key Requirements: Minimum of two years' culinary experience in a professional kitchen; A passion for creating and presenting high-quality cold salads and sandwiches; Strong organizational and multitasking skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as needed; A positive attitude and a willingness to learn; Sound knowledge and strict adherence to food safety standards and procedures; Willingness and openness to learning new things; and take pride in our business and the food we serve.
