Senior Central Station And System Maintenance Technician

From fire detection and intruder alarm systems to digital CCTV surveillance, access control, and gate operators, including the latest IP based and fully integrated security solutions, we provide a full range of innovative products and services to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and service support for the central station monitoring equipment whilst providing troubleshooting and problem-solving support to the team. Additionally, this role will manage a team of technicians to support Selectron with the delivery of high and timely standards of service. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: • 5 years' applicable experience performing building maintenance of security and fire protection systems with proven track record managing a team. Must have experience in looking after Emergency Response Central Station Sur-Gard Receiver data and/or dedicated POTS Telecommunication lines for 24/7 Central station monitoring • Must have demonstrated experience installing IP CCTV systems within residential and commercial settings; training and certifications in this area would be preferred Must hold or be willing to obtain a light vehicle driver's license Proven ability to read plans and schematics Strong computer or software programming, networking skills and/or AutoCAD is considered advantageous Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage jobs and resources within required timelines and budgets Excellent communication and customer service skills, proven experience working with clients, working on a team, and adapting to existing process To support business needs, the successful candidate must be willing to work rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends or public holidays as required. As Selectron is a security company, the successful candidate will also be required to pass a background check.
