Landscape/hardscape Gardener

On behalf of our client, IEL Limited, we are seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals with professional landscape/hardscape experience with emphasis on proper lawn care, weeding, planting, pruning as well as other aspects of landscape gardening including use of fertilizers and chemicals, together with the ability to install wood, stone, segmental blocks for garden pools, garden pathways and flower beds, etc. based on the landscape plans. A minimum of five years’ experience as a landscape/hardscape gardener is required. Possession of a heavy truck license would be an asset. Please provide a resume along with two references. IEL Limited has a zero tolerance policy for drug and alcohol abuse Based on the nature of the position a security check will be required. Key Duties and Responsibilities Proper lawn care, weeding, planting, pruning and maintenance of grounds. Use of fertilisers and chemicals in the execution of duties to ensure proper care is taken. Plant new and repair/maintain lawns, using seeding and mixtures recommended for type of soil and location of plants, trees, scrubs, etc. Planting trees, scrubs and flowers as recommended.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years experience as a landscape/hardscape gardener, with the ability to plan and execute proper lawn care operations and maintenance, weeding, planting and pruning, using gardening tools and power-operated equipment. Use of seed mixtures, fertilisers and chemicals. Ability to install wood, stone, segmental blocks for garden pools, pathways and flower beds based on landscape plans.
