A rewarding and challenging career opportunity exists within the Corporation of Hamilton for a Part Time Theatre Technician. Under the supervision of the City Engineer/COO and in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and operational standards of the Corporation of Hamilton, the Theatre Manager/Technician is responsible for supporting all technical aspects of live theatre productions. This includes lighting, sound, set construction, rigging, and stage management. Qualifications/Experiences: Bachelor's Degree in Theatre, Business, Education, Hospitality, Technical, Management, or equivalent. A minimum of five (5) years' post-qualification experience is required for the post. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of technical experience in stage operations, lighting, sound and related equipment. Demonstrated experience in effective communication with colleagues, management and members of the public in a courteous and polite manner. Must be SCARS certified.

Requirements
