The Temporary Groundsman is a casual worker who will assist the regular full-time Port Royal Golf Course and Ocean View Golf Course grounds crew with the general grounds’ daily duties. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. To maintain the workplace and equipment in clean and sanitary conditions. 2. To carry out mowing with hand rotary and reel mowers, string trimmers and related attachments. 3. General ground maintenance including weeding, edging, raking, trimming, sweeping and other related duties. 4. Water areas by hand (quick coupler and hose), or with a head using a valve key. 5. Loading and unloading of vehicles. 6. Chipping operations and debris disposal. 7. Maintenance of bunkers including edging, raking and restocking of sand from screening operations if required. 8. Assist in any golf course projects or improvements. 9. Comply with the basic requirements of the Health and Safety Work Act.
