Medical House is seeking an experienced Customer Experience Representative to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Customer Experience Representative will assist customers with product selection, orders, and product information, helping to identify solutions that meet each customer’s individual needs. This role requires the ability to problem solve and provide knowledgeable recommendations across our wide range of medical, healthcare, uniform, safety, restaurant and janitorial supply products. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in customer service, merchandising, organization, sales, and problem solving, and will also assist with physical inventory counts. This position plays an active role in maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and engaging sales floor while supporting the growth of Medical House sales through in-store service, daily deliveries, and promotional initiatives. As part of the Medical House team, you will collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure outstanding customer experiences while staying informed about our products, industry trends, and evolving customer needs. This role also involves stock replenishment, merchandising, and light warehouse support as required to ensure the smooth operation of the store. This position requires availability to work Saturdays on a rotational basis as part of the regular schedule.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service, retail, or a related customer-facing role. Experience in healthcare, medical supplies, uniforms, janitorial or related product industries will be considered a strong asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, and colleagues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and point-of-sale or inventory management systems. Experience with Windward System 5 is considered an asset. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Demonstrated ability to resolve customer concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism while maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to lift, move, and organize stock up to 50 lbs., and assist with product replenishment as required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach are essential for success in this role. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends during inventory preparation and counting periods.
