On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Level One Motor Vehicle Mechanic with at least 5 years' experience. Reporting to the Manager you will support the day-to-day service and repair operation to carry out inspection and servicing of vehicles as required, operate diagnostic equipment and tools and diagnose faults and recommend solutions to vehicle owners about most suitable repairs. Conduct test-drives and adjusts vehicle controls and systems as appropriate and effectively use all servicing and maintenance tools and equipment and maintain in good condition, in addition, keep accurate service records by recording service and repairs. Standard Grade 1 Level IVQ Motor Vehicle Engineering Level 1 required, with hands-on experience in servicing/repairs and strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position, 35-hrs per week and must be flexible to work nights and weekends, with occasional overtime.

Requirements

At least 5 years' experience. Standard Grade 1 Level IVQ Motor Vehicle Engineering Level 1 required, with hands-on experience in servicing/repairs and strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
