Accounting Supervisor

International Managers Bermuda Ltd ("IMBL") provides accounting services to a significant number of diverse trust and company structures in Bermuda. IMBL is part of Moore Global, a leading accounting and consultancy network, with over 260 member firms across the globe. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage the day to day integrity of clients' accounting ledgers along with financial books and records; Preparing and issuing financial statements in conformity with agreed and approved accounting standards, including preparation of supporting working paper files; Supervising accounting team, including assisting team members and managing accounting work schedule Review of working papers and draft financial statements Reviewing activities on investment portfolios and ensuring that transactions are properly documented and accounted; Monitoring of transaction advices to review for abnormalities; Assisting with the completion of forms, reports and documents required for the investment of trust/company assets; Reviewing the investment strategy of investment portfolios to ensure adherence to the investment policy guidelines; Communication with financial institutions (e.g. banks, investment advisors) as well as other professional intermediaries; Providing administrative and technical support to Managers and Directors; Develop strong relationships with clients and other internal teams; Preparing fee invoices for relationships; Preparation and/or review of other ad hoc financial reports, such as budgets, cashflows, investment appraisal, etc; Carry out all aspects of the role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and controls. Liaising directly with client representatives. An internationally recognized professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CGA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience, to include a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity; A minimum of 2 years' experience in trust accounting, including investment accounting and familiarity with trust documentation; A minimum of 2 years' experience with Quickbooks and JobStream accounting software and proficient in Microsoft office suite; A high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking; Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as time management and the ability to prioritize demands; Ability to deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements
