Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Permanent

The postholder will work under the direction of the Office Manager and will serve as the administrator to the CedarBridge Academy administration team. Responsibilities include performing a range of clerical, secretarial, and administrative support duties while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The postholder must be willing to work in a school environment, and will be required to relieve the reception and support other administrative personnel under the direction of the Office Manager.

Requirements

• Successful completion of the Associate Degree or equivalent. • Certificate in secretarial or office administration skills preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • SCARS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring). • CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring). • Clean criminal record. • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a professional office environment. • Experience working in a school or youth-oriented environment will be considered an asset.
