Shelf Opco Bermuda Limited is part of The Fidelis Partnership, a leading privately-owned, Bermuda-based Managing General Underwriter, which, through its subsidiaries, is a global underwriter of property, bespoke and specialty insurance, and reinsurance products. It is one of the largest Managing General Underwriters globally. The purpose of this role is to handle and adjust all insurance claims activities, managing D&F claims from first notification to final resolution and ensuring accurate assessment and compliance with policy terms.

Requirements

5 years of experience in the insurance industry within a claims role; Strong background in North American Property CAT claims and Property D&F insurance; Demonstrated, practical understanding of Claims systems; Insurance designation (e.g. ACII, CPCU, ARM, AIC) an asset; Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Strong prioritisation and time management skills with a high degree of accuracy; Willingness and ability to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays, as required; Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
