Service Supervisor - Chiller & Refrigeration

Key Responsibilities: Motivate and train staff Ensure technical capabilities for field force are consistent with current contractual commitments and market strategy Delegate and organise work of other technicians to achieve budgeted operating plans and ensure customer satisfaction Perform site surveys, replacements, modifications and technical support as needed or requested by the customer Promptly address customer concerns to ensure resolution and maintain long-term relationships Take responsibility for team safety performance and programme compliance Respond to or assist other Service Technicians Respond to emergency service calls to keep system downtime to a minimum Provide counsel, coaching and leadership and/or analyse, troubleshoot, repair and restore equipment/systems to full operation and recommend revisions, replacements and/or upgrades when necessary for effectiveness or in cases of obsolescence Prioritise customer satisfaction Key Qualifications/Abilities: Associate degree or equivalent 2-year qualification from a college or technical school with a certificate in either Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or Heating and Ventilation Completion of a 3-year minimum apprenticeship as a Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Engineer or equivalent work experience Minimum of 10 years related industry experience with increasing responsibility Factory trained with Carrier, Trane, York or McQuay or another recognised Chiller manufacturer (Chiller team) Proven ability in tearing down and rebuilding centrifugal chillers (Chiller team) Factory training in Multi-stack/Turbcor equipment/mag-bearing compressors at high level (Chiller team) Excellent knowledge of Supermarket Rack/Pack equipment including CPC controls (Refrigeration team) Experience in all refrigeration equipment, including bottle coolers, ice makers walk-in, warehouse equipment (Refrigeration team) Exceptionally strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot high voltage/low voltage equipment, controls and VFD's High level of computer literacy, including ability to use vendor specific software to troubleshoot and fine-tune parameters
