Building Controls Technician

Key Responsibilities: Fulfill contract obligations effectively and efficiently Carry out BAS installation quickly and professionally as directed with minimal supervision Develop relationships, establish trust and identify opportunities with building owners Market and sell in conjunction with other service repairs, service/BAS service agreements, turn-key, BAS and IAQ energy solutions Respond to opportunities by identifying needs and helping to generate quotes and close orders Assist with the acquisition of pull through work and notify appropriate AIRCARE sales team members of opportunities Assist with the development of solutions when appropriate Consolidate reference information by collecting, organising and assembling data for reports, presentations and/or special projects Identify performance-based solutions and internal teams to develop opportunities Perform remote site analysis via modem or web access Attend industry events to meet new customers and market products and services Maintain regular correspondence with customer service representatives Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain customer satisfaction by responding to trouble calls, investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed Gather customer feedback and share the necessary information with management Maintain any assigned Company vehicle cleanliness, tools and safety equipment Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements Work closely with other parts of the business and assist others on projects as needed Key Qualifications/Abilities: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field Basic HVAC systems and controls knowledge Must be willing to learn Trane Tracer Summit Architecture and JCI Metasys/FX Possess valid Bermuda Driver's License Dress within the Company guidelines to maintain a professional appearance Must be able to travel and do heavy lifting as required Ability to work as a team, while also being able to work independently Demonstrate a spirit of cooperation and positive attitude Strong customer service and organisation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Flexible to business demands, working evenings and weekends as required
