The Commis Chef will oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals in the restaurant. This position will report to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate must hold a Diploma or Certificate from a recognized culinary school and at least 2 years' experience working in all areas of a busy medium-sized restaurant kitchen. Knowledge of Food Hygiene is a must, along with excellent communications skills, a positive attitude with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet restaurant standards. Based on the nature of this position it is one of trust therefore, a police certificate is required. A proven record, substantiated with references is required. Ability to work shifts, extended hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Requirements
