The Royal Gazette Ltd is looking to fill the position of Sports Sub-Editor. As Sports Sub-Editor you will support the Sports Editor to administer, plan and produce various publications, as well as supervise staff. Key responsibilities include creating and coordinating content for all media channels (print, web, social media), editing copy, laying out pages, exercising judgment over overseas news, and producing the Sport Scoreboard page. The role requires working unsocial hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
Minimum of ten years' experience as a journalist, with at least three of those years in a copy-editing role. Proficiency in an array of publishing tools, significantly InDesign. Ability to work unsocial hours including weekends and public holidays.
