The successful candidate will provide attentive childcare for one three-year-old and one newborn while maintaining a clean, safe, organized household. Responsibilities include full-time childcare, overseeing daily routines, including feeding, changing, bathing, and bedtime preparation; supporting social and emotional development to prepare children for a smooth transition to school; introducing developmentally appropriate educational activities, games, and early-learning lessons; as children grow older, supporting learning by assisting with homework; coordinating and accompanying children to playgroups and activities; and communicating daily with parents regarding children’s progress, schedule, behavior, and mood. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation, grocery shopping, and general housekeeping. This is a full-time position (45 hours per week) with additional overtime as needed and flexibility to travel with the family may also be required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have 5+ years’ private childcare experience, extensive newborn experience, is caring, responsible, energetic, CPR/First Aid certified, holds or can obtain a Bermuda driver’s license, non-smoker with a clean record, and excellent references.
