Mason / Tile and Stone Installer

Mason Responsibilities include: Preparing surfaces prior to commencement of work appropriately. Building, altering and repairing various structures. Installing tiles and stones appropriately. Plastering ceilings and walls. Mixing cement and other materials required to complete the work. Accurately reading blueprints, site layouts and elevations. Using appropriate equipment and/or hand tools. Estimating materials effectively. Safely operate heavy equipment as required. Qualification, Experience & Skills: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a top-grade Mason. Experience in all aspects of masonry including tiling and stonework. Working knowledge of standard practices, materials, and tools of the masonry trade. Experience in reading blueprints, site layouts and elevations. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to lift up to 100 lbs. Dependable and punctual. Clean criminal record. Tile and Stone Installer Responsibilities include: Preparing surfaces prior to commencement of work appropriately. Appropriately installing tiles and stones to various structures. Cutting and shaping tiles and stones using tools to ensure appropriate fit. Filling spaces between tiles and stones with grout, sealing and providing a polished finish. Mixing cement and other materials required to complete the work. Using appropriate equipment and/or hand tools. Reading and understanding drawings and plans. Maintaining a clean work area and follow safety guidelines. Fixing any issues that arise during the installation process. Qualification, Experience & Skills: Minimum of 10 years experience as a top-grade tile and stone installer. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mason. Knowledge of various installation techniques. Working knowledge of standard practices, materials, and tools. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable and punctual. Able to lift up to 100 lbs. Clean criminal record.
