Primary duties include all aspects of full-time care for a family member, bathing, dressing, feeding, administration of medication, general housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping and meal preparation for 50 hours per week requiring overnight, weekends, public holidays and ad hoc coverage. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar live-in role or a nursing/private care environment. Experience in Dementia Care and completion of the Dementia Bermuda Caregiver Program (or current enrollment) would be an asset. A current CPR/First Aid certificate is required along with a relevant care certification. Candidates must be caring, reliable, a non- smoker and hold a valid Bermuda car license. Experience caring for patients in a hospital setting preferred. A clean criminal record and glowing references are required.
