On behalf of our client, the Mello Family are seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing live-out child caregiver to support a private family household. The ideal candidate has a strong background in child development and early childhood education and brings a calm, organized, and engaging approach to both childcare and household support. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the care of a 2-year-old girl. Duties include, but are not limited to, attending to the child's personal needs, supporting early learning and development, preparing meals, grocery shopping, general household cleaning, laundry, ironing, and maintaining an organized home environment. Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • University degree in related child studies, a focus on education preferred. • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with young children. • First Aid, CPR, and SCARS certified, ability to respond calmly to emergencies. • Experience supervising and creating age-appropriate activities and play to support child in development and movement. • Strong understanding of child development & safety. • Ability to maintain a clean, safe and organized household environment. • Strong time management, problem-solving and attention to detail. • Effective communication with children and parents. The position requires flexibility to work approximately 50 hours per week, including split shifts, with availability for evenings and holidays.
