Level 3 Qualified Automotive Technicians

Our client, Current Works Ltd., is a revolutionary automotive maintenance & repair facility, specializing in electric and hybrid vehicles whilst also being experts in standard vehicle maintenance. On their behalf, we are seeking Level 3 Vehicle Technicians to join their growing team. Duties and Responsibilities: This role will involve carrying out high-quality vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting according to professional standards with the aim of achieving the highest levels of customer service. Carry out the autonomous performance of diagnostics, maintenance work, defined repairs, and assembly work including advanced structure and function of systems, components, and assemblies known and reliably assigned to the vehicle types in which they are installed. Maintenance, inspection, diagnostic & calibration of tools and vehicles as required (i.e. wheel alignment equipment, multi-meter, OBD diagnostic equipment, removal and refitting of mechanical & electrical components). Testing vehicle components using actual values and actuations, and can locate the information required for troubleshooting and diagnosis. Can interpret function descriptions, basic circuit diagrams, and repair procedures from the workshop literature and use them for correct diagnosis and repair. Accurately document work carried out with clear presentation and photos as required via online system. Maintain a clean and tidy work area. Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of recent experience carrying out automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles including hybrid, electric, diesel and small machines. Recognized automotive qualification (ie. NVQ, VRQ, VCQ, ASE (A1-A9), City & Guilds, Level 3 vehicle repair) Knowledge relating to CAN technology, and the principle of the data transfer process in vehicle networking and interactive functions. Knowledgeable in alternative fuel technology including EV and Hybrid systems. Excellent customer service skills paired with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Clear communication skills with a good work ethic. Ability to push, pull and lift heavy objects in a physically demanding role. Excellent references and a clean criminal background required.
