Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, you will be responsible for general accounting duties including, but not limited to, performing and reviewing reconciliations, assisting with internal and external audits, and supporting the month-end closing process. Other duties will include, but not be limited to, undertaking administrative and clerical work to support the primary duties, as well as project work across the Coralisle Group of Companies as required. Participate in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including the recording of accounting transactions, preparation of reconciliations, and generation of internal management reports Assist with the preparation of external reporting including audited financial statements (IFRS) and other regulatory reporting Review and monitor daily financial operations Assist with internal and external audit to ensure a smooth review process Lead or help with special projects, system enhancements and ad hoc reporting requests, as needed Coach junior staff and provide guidance to complete their tasks Pursue continued process improvements, efficiencies and leveraging of current and new technology

Requirements

CA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent internationally recognised accounting qualification, or current enrollment in a professional accounting program Minimum three years' accounting experience, ideally within insurance, reinsurance, or a professional accounting firm Candidates with relevant experience and a strong interest in pursuing a designation are also encouraged to apply Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Sage Intacct and Workiva is a plus Strong ownership of responsibilities, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise multiple tasks Excellent communication and organisational skills Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Positive attitude, openness to learning, and passion for professional development and process improvement
