High School Learning Support Teacher

Since 1943, Bermuda Institute has been owned and operated by the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Bermuda Institute offers grades Pre-K-12, a co-educational program that is aligned with the American system of education. Its commitment to excellence is confirmed by its accreditations by AAA, NCPSA, and MSA. BI is seeking High School Learning Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Duties and Responsibilities include uploading an up-to-date resume along with certified copies of relevant qualifications, a daily lesson plan, an IEP, current Bermuda Educator's Council License, current denominational certification, a current SCARS Certificate, and a certified police background check from the last 10 years. Additionally, three references with emails including one from the current supervisor and current pastor are required. Applicants must comply with Bermuda Institute’s COVID Testing policy and undergo Child Abuse Clearance verification from the Department of Child and Family Services.

Requirements

A minimum of a master’s degree in special education or equivalent with a concentration in inclusion or collaborative consultation or another relevant concentration. Must have at least three (3) years’ experience at the high school level working with students who have exceptionalities. Demonstrated proficiency in using best practice instructional and assessment strategies.
