Bermuda Government is hiring a

Dental Assistant

Deadline: 1 week

Job Type: Permanent

The post holder works under the supervision of a Dental Officer, Dental Hygienist or Chief Dental Officer depending on the assigned functional area and is accountable for the successful delivery of clinical support and preventive services in the dental clinics, including all phases of assisting for general dental practice, individual or classroom oral health presentations, oral health surveillance, distribution of fluoride, and associated duties. The post holder also performs reception, administrative and data entry duties.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year's relevant experience as a Dental Assistant. Must possess a Certificate in Dental Assisting or equivalent. Registered/Certified Dental Assistant with current CPR certification. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be familiar with radiation safety and infection control procedures. Physical capacity to lift and move portable equipment.
